Orthotists, PT’s, OT’s or Fitters
We , as a national provider of healthcare medical devices & products, are seeking experienced Orthotists, PT’s, RN’s, OT’s who are Fitters, Therapeutic Shoe Fitters, Diabetic Shoe Fitters, C.Peds or Certified Orthotic Fitters across the USA in Senior Living, Assisted Living, Long Term Care and Long Term Acute Care.

Perform fitting, and execute minor modifications as necessary.
Evaluate orthotic device on patient, adjust to assure fit, function, medical efficacy, and quality of work.
Instruct recipients in use of medical device products.
Identify and reconcile issues/problems to ensure patient satisfaction with devices provided.
Provide follow-up with patients and physicians.
Provide in-service training to physicians and allied health care professionals.
Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Effective communication skills for accurate, concise, and organized oral and written presentation and reports to patient and staff
Thorough understanding of medical terminology
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with physicians, therapists and patients
Must have a professional bedside manner.
Currently has an existing network of contacts & relationships in the long term care, senior living or assisted living communities, or can cold call and set appointments with facilities or management companies.
An equivalent combination of education and experience .
Current certification as a Certified Fitter or Orthotics (i.e. American Board Certified (ABC)). A plus but not mandatory as we do certify fitters.
Minimum of 1-2 years successful experience in providing PT, PTA, RN, LPN, OT, OTA, COTA or Orthotic services in the Long Term Care , Assisted Living and Senior Living market.
