About the Role

HelloFresh Canada is seeking a curious and savvy project manager who will drive strategic projects and unlock new capabilities and efficiency through automation. This role will work on projects that span the marketing portfolio -- growth marketing (online, offline, and partnerships), brand marketing, retention, and analytics. The successful candidate brings forth knowledge and experience of how organizing systems are critical in the quality and timeliness of marketing in a high growth scale-up environment.

Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, you will join a Toronto-based marketing team that is talented and driven. You will play a critical role in furthering growth drivers such as advanced audience segmentation, landing page optimization, multi-touch attribution, internal process optimizations, and more. This is a wonderful opportunity to join a rapidly growing business with a product that delights consumers.

You will

  • Play a central role in strategic projects that drive HF's growth marketing function
  • Drive automation projects that support the growth team and broader marketing team. This is a new function that will require entrepreneurial spirit. Where challenges can't be solved internally, you will be empowered to find and use resources that can.
  • Make an impact on KPIs -- everything from LTV, to conversion rate, to the amount of time the team spends on repetitive manual tasks.
  • Drive business solutions – planning and leading discovery sessions, gathering requirements, building business cases, delivering quality documentation, and managing outcomes.
  • Work with marketing leadership to develop project schedules and milestones while identifying risks and dependencies
  • Have the opportunity to work with Canadian and global stakeholders across projects.
  • Work alongside analytical thinkers and be comfortable with tracking, analyzing, reporting on, and presenting results
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitive offerings
  • Continuously look for new opportunities and push through new thinking and ideas that can help the business grow

You are

  • An organized project manager and planner
  • Fired up by being a change maker.
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, you are able to articulate challenges and problems and then move swiftly to problem solving
  • A comfortable communicator that can connect with audiences -- from coordinators to CEOs
  • Data-driven and curious/analytical by nature
  • Someone who understands the power of documentation
  • A culture fit; you are kind, professional, passionate, and hungry to learn.


  • 2-4 years in project management
  • 2+ years marketing experience
  • Familiar with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Asana, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related technology field
  • You move fast individually, but also understand that building good processes can help everyone move faster.
  • Knowledge of PMO methodologies like agile/scrum are a plus
  • Basic coding skills are a plus (including SQL knowledge)
  • Experience with different martech tools and platforms is a plus

Hybrid Work Approach

At HelloFresh, we know that flexible work arrangements are essential in enabling you to do your best work, while balancing your personal and life needs. Offering remote work flexibility for our employees is a core part of creating a great employee experience. We are also mindful that many employees thrive on in-person interactions and collaboration opportunities at the office (e.g. new joiners, team building, social events, experiencing our product).

To meet those needs, we are pleased to provide a Hybrid Work Approach, which enables employees to work from home up to 50% of the time, and also work remotely (within Canada) up to four weeks per year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our HQ employees are primarily working remotely from home and we have the office open and available on a voluntary basis for employees who wish to work from there. Pending public health guidelines, we expect to return to the office using our Hybrid Work Approach. Employees will receive a minimum of one month's notice of our Hybrid Work Approach taking effect and when employees will be expected to start work from the office.
