The Project Management (PM) position involves working in the specialty Geotechnical Construction profession, and includes managing all aspects of ground improvement (vibro compaction, aggregate piers, compaction grouting, rigid inclusions, etc.), specialty deep foundation, and soil stabilization projects. A qualified PM shall have earned a 4-year degree in civil engineering or construction management from an accredited university, and ideally possesses relevant industry experience. In this position, the PM will have "cradle to grave" responsibility for all projects. This means he/she will track leads, establish/maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, and owners, negotiate contracts, manage the work including both office and field resources, and ensure timely payment of invoices. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, will be a problem solver and team player, will be highly organized and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality. Proficiency with scheduling software, MS Office, and AutoCAD is highly desirable. The ability to read and understand construction project plans and specifications is essential.
