The Process Engineer reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and is responsible for conceiving, designing, building and/or acquiring equipment to support productivity improvements and continuing operations.
Essential Functions% of TimeDesign and build custom machinery and/or Jigs & Fixtures.0-90%Review new orders identifying tooling or process requirements.0-90%Specify, source, and acquire capital equipment to meet assigned project objectives.0-50%Work with MIS to integrate & communicate data with HP-9000.0-90%Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.

Knowledge and Skill:
Bachelor of Science (Engineering with Mechanical or Electrical Background highly desired)
5-10 years industrial experience (preferably trailer or similar industry).
In-depth knowledge of computers and PLC’s.
In-depth knowledge of CAD products. (Co-Create desirable)
Machine tool operations.
Machine tool building principles and practices, including OSHA & safety.
Strength of materials, statics, dynamics, control circuitry, fluid power, and basic metallurgy.
