Major Law Firm located in Northern New Jersey is seeking two Patent Prosecution Paralegals:
Ability to work with Patent Attorneys in the managing of client electronic correspondence by delegating, monitoring, and tracking communications between Attorneys and clients to make sure communication is timely and recorded;
Ability to process patent prosecution applications and patent prosecution knowledge should be both in the U.S. and International arenas as a complete knowledge of patent prosecution procedures in both the U.S. and International are needed.
In addition, the following general basic qualifications are required:
Critical attention to detail and accuracy;
Proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with Windows;
General familiarity with patent prosecution software and patent electronic filing procedures;
Ability to work in a team environment is essential;
Extensive knowledge of the patent prosecution procedures in the U.S.;
General Knowledge of the foreign patent prosecution procedures;
Excellent attention to detail;
Familiarity with IP Master and IPADS or similar prosecution software;
Ability to work independently and accurately;
Excellent computer and organizational skills;
Able to work in a team environment;
College degree preferred.
Ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience preferably from a major law firm or similar corporation.
