SQL Server DBA-2650
(1) Development of advanced database schemas, tables, stored procedures, and permission settings; (
2) Development of database utilities for automatic reporting and availability monitoring, analysis of capacity and performance requirements, database tuning for optimal efficiency, implementation of security and encryption requirements, and evaluation of new database technologies;
(3) Playing well with others under minimal supervision; (
4) Working on multiple projects organizing/prioritize their work to achieve desired results in a timely manner.
MUST have 5 years of experience and advanced enterprise-level database knowledge (data modeling, tuning, analyzing, administration, warehousing, etc.).
MUST have good knowledge of: MS SQL Server SS, RS, AS, IS or equivalent.
MUST have design and development of enterprise database architectures (including modeling, tuning, etc.).
MUST have knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence platforms.
MUST have familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 database solutions (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS).
MUST have experience with data sharing and disk partitioning.
MUST have experience creating shell scripts for task automation.
MUST have development of database utilities and automated reporting experience.
MUST have experience sustaining capacity and performance requirements.
MUST have knowledge of monitoring systems and platforms for availability.
MUST have knowledge of “create, test and execute” data management languages.
MUST have knowledge of database disaster recovery methodologies.
