DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Database design and architecture, database programming, data analysis, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, etc.; (2) Analyzing data requirements of business processes; (3) Designing and implementing necessary database tables to support application development; (4) Maintaining, supporting, and troubleshooting existing databases; (5) Developing, maintaining, and enforcing database development standards; (6) Driving best practices to guide development teams on database programming; (7) Developing strategies for data acquisition, data archival, and data growth; (8) Maintaining data dictionaries; (9) Performing SQL code reviews and recommending optimization; (10) Assisting developers in troubleshooting data related issues.
MUST have 2 years of STRONG/CURRENT SQL programming, and STRONG/CURRENT XML and XSLT.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT data and programming experience with flat files and Excel document data.
MUST have 2 years of STRONG/CURRENT database design, architecture, database programming, data modeling, data warehousing with MS SQL Server 2005 and 2008 where is working closely with development and programming teams on full life cycle of large/complex enterprise projects.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT problem solving skills as well as EXCELLENT communication and interpersonal skills, with ability and experience demonstrating leadership ability.
