We ares seeking a high energy, focused and driven individuals to join our Outside Sales Account Management Training Program in our Burlington or Barre VT area locations.
Our Outside Sales Management Trainees will have the opportunity to learn every aspect of our business and will spend time in each of the departments that strive to make our company successful. Candidates who successfully complete the program will be considered for Outside sales opportunities.
Trainees who successfully complete our program will be assigned a territory.
SALES TRAINEE SUMMARY
To facilitate learning our business, Sales Trainees will have the opportunity to learn our business by working in various roles including: Inside Sales, Heating/HVAC design, Counter and warehouse. These roles are described in brief below:
Inside Sales Representative:
1. Serve our customers by providing special, technical or pricing information.
2.Maintain a customer list, and make weekly sales phone to introduce new products and to promote items which need clearing (over-stock and obsolete items)
3.Conduct follow-up telephone calls on customer inquiries, complaints, etc.;
4.Secure accurate information from vendors on shipments and deliveries and relay it to the customer.
1.Provide Granite Group customers with design services and installation recommendations for all types of heating and cooling systems.
2.Consult with customers and provide design and engineering information, technical support and installation recommendations.
3.Promote and sell all products in the heating lines carried by The Granite Group to provide a complete and adequate system for the customer.
1.Greet customers and handle customer requests promptly and courteously.
2. Process customer sales in an efficient and accurate manner.
3.Pull, double check and pack product for counter customers.
4. Maintain merchandise displays in the counter sales area.
1.Insures that inventory is received and put away and that product is delivered in good condition.
2. Work closely with inside and outside sales personnel to ensure product is delivered when scheduled.
3.Insure that computer inventory counts are current and accurate using our inventory control methods.
4.Work with other locations and Corporate purchasing department in transferring product to other locations as needed.

A valid driver’s license and a clean motor vehicle record is a must.
Experience in the plumbing and heating industry is a plus, but is not required.
Experience in wholesale, distribution type industries in sales type roles is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marekting, Libral Arts, Solociology
