Our client, a prestigious investment firm, is looking for an Administrative Receptionist to join its Manhattan office. The ideal candidate will be extremely professional, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and a hospitable and engaging personality. This position will be the meeter and greeter of the company - the first face people see. You must have an excellent presence and phone demeanor. In this role you will not only be handling a busy telephone, but also ensure that high profile visitors are well taken care of and taking on ad hoc projects as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer phones and transfer calls
- Take messages as needed
- Book conference rooms
- Creating, scheduling, and managing orders for Monday and Friday food orders
- Meet and greet all guests (offer to take coats, coffee, water, etc.)
- Maintain and update reception binder
- Liaise with facilities team
- Work with Vice President to oversee communication of wellness days
- Updating floor maps and pictures; updating and replacing internal phone lists
- Any additional ad hoc projects, as necessary

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Receptionist; preferably with a professional firm
- Background in event planning and/or restaurants is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Publisher and Adobe Photoshop is preferred
- Proven ability to multi task and prioritize

SALARY
$45-55K + paid OT (no more than 2 hrs/week) + discretionary bonus + great benefits

HOURS
8:00am – 5:00pm
