Plastics resin distribution company headquartered in Manchester, NH is looking for a self-driven, highly motivated, friendly individual with a strong logistics background.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a customer service and logistics position including and not limited to the following:

  • Work directly with sales department and customers:
    • Order entry, invoice creation, schedule deliveries to customer and / or warehouse transfers
  • Daily communication and negotiation with designated freight carriers.
  • Daily follow up on pending deliveries with warehouses and carriers.
  • Daily communication required with internal purchasing, logistics, inventory, and / or credit departments to ensure prompt order fulfillment.
  • Organize workflow to meet deadlines.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to stay focused and on task while in a home office setting.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced and transactional environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is a must.
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
  • Professional and friendly team player mentality.
  • Computer skills: Proficient in Windows & Microsoft Office are a must, particularly Excel.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION :

  • 2 + years experience is required, preferably in plastics or other related manufacturing / distribution related fields.
  • College preferred but not required.

This position is for full time employment with an immediate start date.

Compensation of $40,000 to $48,000 annually. Salary is dependent on previous experience and skills.
