Global Graphene Group (G3) is delivering the world’s most technologically advanced materials. On a daily basis, G3 is exploring the boundaries of graphene in search of new marketable ways graphene can be used across industries and globally. We are looking to add an IT Manager to our management team. In this role, you will have ownership and manage our IT infrastructure as the needs of the company continue to grow and expand.

As IT Manager you will:

  • Maintain the Company network including servers, data lines, employee desktops/ laptops, phone system and internet connection.
  • Maintain Company ERP/CRM system (NetSuite experience preferable) including upgrades and software updates.
  • Maintain awareness of changing trends and regulations and act as required, including consideration of business needs, objectives and goals, and identifying products and procedures to best meet those needs, and ensuring compliance with software licensing agreements.
  • Oversee implementation of new projects relevant to IT and coordinating process with a project leader.
  • Provide well-defined plans including procedures, deadlines, and accountability, including configuration of performance standards, and monitoring controls.
  • Develop and oversee an annual budget incorporating business needs.
  • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plan, offsite data storage and cyber-security.
  • Work with Supply Chain Leader to make purchasing decisions for software, hardware, laptops and supplies.
  • Ensure technology utilization provides a fast, accurate, and secure method to access information in a highly efficient and effective manner; ensure service support is provided in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.

Qualified candidates should bring your passion for technology and ability to independently manage and oversee system needs, as well as:

  • Past ERP implementation is a must; NetSuite preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in IT Management.
  • Extensive experience in Local and Wide Area Networks.
  • Extensive experience with personal computers, software applications and remote access.
  • Certifications such as MCSE are a plus.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and develop integrated, IT effective solutions.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize daily workload and meet deadlines – must be able to wear many hats and adapt to our start-up environment.
