This position is suited for someone who loves solving challenging puzzles, is highly self-directed and has a very high standard for him/herself but is also not afraid to make mistakes along the way. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Organizing and maintaining all company records
LOTS of bookkeeping using Quickbooks Online
Creating simple financial reports and reporting findings to the team
Communicating with customers to resolve issues with orders and shipping
Filing sales tax returns in several states
Working with banks to handle checking and savings accounts and lines of credit
Initiating and managing domestic shipment and freight
Filing and keeping track of important letters, receipts, and forms
Playtesting Genius Games prototypes
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets
Proficient in Quickbooks Online
Great with numbers, spreadsheets and math
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
I don’t care if you have a master’s degree or a high school diploma, or if you’ve never had a job or ran Google. As long as you fit the person we’re looking for, do us both a favor and apply ASAP.
At this point, this is a part time position with a flexible schedule from 16 to 24 hours a week. Compensation for this part-time position will start at $10 to $15 per hour depending on skills fit and experience. The real hope is that person can move into a full-time strategic role as they excel at their current role. After one year of employment this position will be additionally compensated with quarterly discretionary bonuses based upon performance and company profits. This position currently offers no healthcare or 401K benefits, but as the company grows, benefits are part of our plan moving forward for employees.
