Ramp positions encompass external servicing of aircraft below the wing, including (but not limited to) loading and unloading baggage and/or cargo on and off aircraft, verifying destinations, and basic maintenance of equipment. This position requires working in a fast paced environment with time constraints to meet published departure goals. A professional and positive image must be consistently displayed by the employee.
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license. Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience, and a high degree of attention to detail. Ability to read, fluently speak, and understand the English language. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurement, volume, distance, and money. Must be free of disqualifying crimes and able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must have reliable transportation and able to work weekends, holidays, and days off.
Starting pay is $9 an hour.
