Garrison Hughes is looking for a full-time Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist to add to its Interactive team. As a Digital Analytics Implementation Specialist at Garrison Hughes, you will be part of an exciting agency and a fun group of people who take their work seriously. In this role you will report to our SVP, Director of Interactive, and share responsibilities including:
Working with business partners and other stakeholders to implement the tag management strategy
Supporting the technical design, construction, delivery, and maintenance of digital implementation solutions
Providing reporting, suggestions, and implementation of related analytics on both internal and externally created web properties
Ideal candidates should be very experienced with the following:
Providing guidance for data integrity issues; ensuring that analyses and proposed recommendations are supported
Maintaining detailed documentation of data collection methods and dependencies
Working closely with developers and testers to implement, validate, and maintain analytics and reporting for digital channels
Working with development teams to integrate analytics tracking requirements into production cycles
Designing and implementing analytical solutions to meet data collection and reporting needs; perform quality assurance checks to guarantee clean data
Conducting audits and troubleshooting tracking gaps to maintain data confidence and implement data standardization practices
Participating in the development of requirements for and implementation of necessary website tagging in order to properly and accurately report on relevant key performance indicators (KPIs)
Providing general troubleshooting assistance for analytics reporting and analysis
Supporting a data-driven culture by educating the organization on everyday uses of data as a resource
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation:
Experience using leading industry analytics tools (Google Analytics)
Experience working with tag management systems, such as Google Tag Manager (GTM)
Deep understanding of data dimensioning/metrics and the proper use of tracking variables
Advanced debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as browser network tabs, Chrome Debugging tools, Firebug, and Postman
Proficient knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), and Document Object Model (DOM) manipulation
Excellent attention to detail, a focus on quality, and the ability to follow through on projects to completion
Strong oral and written communication skills
