Position Overview

The position will be part of a small but mighty (and growing!) team that is deeply committed to the mission and the joy of great food. Reporting to the Sales Operations Director, the individual who fills the Sales Operations Associate role will work directly with the sales team to onboard and support direct customers of both our brands, Open Road Snacks and Sejoyia, and will work with the broader Fresca supply chain, logistics, and quality teams to ensure successful end to end order execution. This individual will also provide additional support to our sales and customer service functions and assist in managing escalations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Customer Onboarding and Ongoing Customer Management – Maintains processes to enable effective communication of product and company level requirements for direct customers. Works with various parts of the Fresca business to onboard new customers and maintain existing customer accounts. Manages customer level requirements around delivery specifications, shelf life requirements, and other unique customer needs to provide clear information for the Fresca Customer Service Team. Works closely with the Fresca Customer Service team to ensure customer level requirements are met, providing oversight for escalations & direct customer issues as necessary.
  • Sales Team Support – Works directly with the sales team on various selling needs including price list management, product portfolio support, and retail product submissions. Manages product portfolio information including pricing, specs, and logistics detail. Supports sales sample execution and customer requirements around new product launches, and order to delivery requirements. Supports sales strategy and analytics related to new customer opportunities and existing customer sales.
  • Consumer Experience Support – Works closely with the customer experience coordinator to manage escalations throughout the organization and to ensure adequate and updated product and brand information is available for sharing with people who enjoy our products. Works with the marketing team to ensure customer experience messaging is aligned with the message we are using in the marketplace to showcase our brands.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and driven to succeed
  • Service oriented person with excellent interpersonal skills
  • At least 3-5 years of similar or comparable work experience, with experience managing people a plus
  • Experience with external customers and working with a sales team
  • Ability to execute simple analysis with customer information to summarize progress towards sales goals
  • Experience working with and developing business process to drive efficiency within an organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
  • High degree of attention to detail and organization
  • Flexible and comfortable working in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Experience managing a variety of different projects and priorities at the same time
  • Experience in the food industry a plus, including the use of GDSN data pools (1WorldSync) and other web based customer and product portals
  • Very proficient with all Microsoft Office programs and web-based software programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science, or other relevant fields

Work Environment

  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 20 lbs of product safely
  • Able to work in both hot/warm conditions
  • Comfortable with a moderate noise level
  • Able to work in an environment with peanuts and tree nuts
