Account Manager

Position Overview

The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing strategic client relationships. The AM serves as the primary client contact point, project manager on client initiatives, and leads the coordination of all internal communication and resources needed to meet client expectations.

Essential Functions

• Interfaces daily with key accounts to track and report performance, assist in growing distribution, resolution of issues, reporting on evaluation of new products and launch/integration progress and performance
• Manage key accounts with a mindset of highest quality product, lowest cost, on time and in full
• Lead Project Manager for maintaining standards and growth of all existing products, as well as all activities for line extensions, new product launches and product integrations for multiple accounts
• With assistance from internal teams, builds detailed project plans for client initiatives
• Responsible for ensuring deadlines are met through proper internal/external planning, follow up, and communication
• Conducts regular client meetings with multiple internal departments to review performance and to discuss client needs
• Assists with existing and new processes to improve client satisfaction and product distribution
• Interfaces with Fresca food safety/quality assurance, operations, logistics, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, accounting, product development and executive teams
• Other duties as assigned

Skills & Knowledge

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to ask the right questions
• Comfortable leading and collaborating with cross-functional meetings at all levels of the organization
• Proficiency in using project management tools, both 3rd party software and in-house templates
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and effectively respond to and manage urgent client requests/issues
• Demonstrated strength in managing client relationships
• Skilled problem solver and adept at multi-tasking

Education & Experience

• 5 to 7 years of relevant business experience, including manufacturing/plant and account management (or equivalent) experience
• BA or BS degree
• Food manufacturing, innovation, and project management experience a plus

Work Environment

• Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time
• Able to work in both hot/warm conditions
• Comfortable with a moderate noise level
• Able to work in an environment with all known allergens
