Dat Jerk Caribbean Chargrill is always looking for enthusiastic personalities to join our team and leaders with proven track records to guide our crew. Our Shift Leaders are responsible for assisting the Assistant Manager and Store Manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. As a Shift Leader you are responsible for contributing towards a superior customer experience by ensuring safe and quality food is prepared and served with a smile, every day.
Responsibilities / Duties
Possess the willingness to learn and grow with a team
Leads with integrity and lives the culture and philosophy of Dat Jerk every day
Ensures that all team members are guest focused first, and displays hospitality skills to create the ultimate guest experience by greeting with a smile and acknowledging guests upon exits.
Ensure guest satisfaction by approaching every table and making sure the guests dining expectations have been achieved
Ensure daily operations tasks are performed and completed
Ensures training programs are followed for new team members according to Dat Jerk position training guidelines
Maintains high cleanliness standards, holds team members accountable for adherence to daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
Responsible for ensuring all team members meet or exceed our standards for serving quality products, recipe presentation and portioning
Stock and follow proper procedures for inventory guidelines
Receive and log inventory in accordance with Dat Jerk's policy and procedures
Assist with office administration duties such as; managing cash draw policies and responsibilities
Complete administrative manager functions including daily and end of day logging procedures
Participates in Weekly Managers Meetings
Communication skills with your team and upper manager are a must

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
1-year experience in working in a restaurant
Excellent verbal and written communication
Basic computer skills
