The Telemarketing Manager works closely with the sales team, strengthens relationships between the sales force and the customer, ensures leads are contacted on a timely basis, and monitors performance of the telemarketing team. This key player in the company works with sales and marketing management to set short- and long-term objectives, coaches the telemarketing team to achieve results, and is a strategic partner in the development and execution of lead-generation and customer-response programs within a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to hire, train, and positively motivate a team of telemarketers to exceed their goals; and superior computer skills with CRM programs. The successful applicant must have a high-energy level and a keen awareness of the role telemarketing plays in the company’s success and will be exceptionally goal-oriented.
