Five Stars is taking loyalty digital. We take all your paper stamp cards and turn them into a universal card, that lets businesses communicate with their loyal customers. We are seeking a VP of Sales, to mentor our growing sales team.
-Recruit, interview and hire sales team members
-Develop sales training programs, host team building events, mentor sales team members
-Train sales team members to successfully meet a high volume of business owners on a daily basis, prospect, educate clients on FiveStars, and close deals
-Ensure that sales team members meet sales goals
-Track success of sales team members
-Represent company at conferences to promote FiveStars
-10+ years of outside sales management experience, leading online national sales teams, through extensive travel throughout the U.S.
-Willing and able to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
-Prior sales experience in the online space (i.e. daily deal, coupons, rebates, local advertising, directory, search, social media)
-Prior success in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring sales team members on a national level
-Experience in developing sales team members career ladders, compensation, commission structures, performance reviews, and sales awards programs
-Knowledgeable in developing sales training programs, to equip sales team members at various levels of experience, host team building events, and provide one-on-one mentorship to sales team members
-Extensive hands-on experience in personally achieving and exceeding sales goals
-Executive presence when interacting with C-level executives, board of directors and investors
-Exceptional verbal, written and presentation communication skills, with the ability to sell to C-level executives, at the large national franchise/chain corporate accounts levels
-Prior success in gaining and maintain business, and strong existing, client relationships with C-level business executives at the large national franchise/chain corporate account levels, in the in the pay-at-the-counter restaurant, coffee shop, tea shop space
-Experience in representing companies at conferences and conducting presentations to market products
-Successful in leading sales teams with a strong following (sales team members are encouraged, positively motivated, given the correct tools to succeed, and cultivate a positive team environment)
-Solid business acumen, creative problem solver, innovative, critical thinker
-Ability to handle multiple detailed projects simultaneously, and to independently adapt to changing roles and priorities, ability to multi-task, effective time management skills
-Self-motivated, strong work ethic, motivator, ambitious, energetic, outgoing, assertive, risk taker, able to hit aggressive objectives
-High level of integrity, customer service, customer management
-Able to build interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships, personable, independent and a self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment
-Prior success in startup environments, and flexible to changes
