Firefly Ground Software Engineers code and test innovative software user interfaces and other programs used to pass critical commands and data that will load and launch a space launch vehicle. Candidates with experience with Labview are encouraged to apply. Your efforts will have a direct effect on the success of the mission. You will work in small collaborative groups through all stages of the development process, and support test and launch operations.
Design, code, and test ground software for launch vehicles and their associated ground equipment
Perform software and hardware-in-the-loop simulations to validate and verify software
Support test and launch operations to ensure command and control software is performing as expected
Degree in Engineering, or another related technical field. Experience may substitute for a degree.
Experience programming with Labview, preferably at least 1-3 years
Outstanding energy and initiative, and the ability to work well with other team members
Ability to work harmoniously in a high-performance team at a launch vehicle start-up environment
Familiarity with C++, Subversion, and/or Python
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
