The Plant Manager will be responsible for the direction and coordination of activities in production, supply chain, engineering, scheduling, process improvements, capital investments, distribution, maintenance, safety, regulatory and training activities. in accordance with company policies, principles, and procedures

Responsibilities

* Responsible for planning and directing production ,scheduling, warehousing, and shipping activities and establishing priorities for products while maintaining a cost effective operation

* Verifies and approves daily production for all areas of manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping

* Reviews and analyzes production, distribution, quality, maintenance, safety and operational activities and reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications

* Oversee scheduling and prioritizes work orders for the shop floor in order to meet customer demands

* Plan, implement, and supervise the 80/20 philosophy by working in all areas of process

* Engage with team on SIOP process providing insight to the Supply Chain team and ensuring that the operation has the proper amount of raw materials and buy out products to fulfill customer demands

* Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing programs to reduce or eliminate occupational injuries and maintain compliance with company programs

* Initiate safety improvements to equipment and process procedures

* Develop and initiate plans for efficient use of materials, machines, trailers, and employees

Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business Required

* Five plus years of experience as a Plant Manager in a manufacturing environment

* Two plus years of management experience in warehousing and distribution

* Overall minimum of ten years of engineering or operations experience in a manufacturing operation

* Extensive background in continuous & process improvement implementation

* Knowledge and experience working with regulatory agencies such as OSHA, EPA, DOT, and ANSI

* Experience working with ERP software like PRMS, SAP, and Syteline
