Responsibilities:

· Define full scale IT Architectures for large organizations.

· Perform as-is analysis of current architectures, systems and its interactions.

· Perform to-be scenario definition and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) evaluations of those scenarios based on deep knowledge of software architectures and products.

· Evaluate different market products that can fulfill customer’s needs.

· Provide technical guidance to the different business and technical profiles of the team.

· Execute and manage the full life cycle of complex projects.

· Oversee IT analysis to provide improvement/change recommendations.

· As a senior consultant, drive IT knowledge transfer to team members through acting as a reference and resource.

· Guarantee the productivity and efficiency of the team.

· Executive reporting of progress and updates through professional presentations.

· Plan and follow up the project plan, proposing corrective actions to the client when needed.

· Formalize and manage the scope of the project with the client.

· Build and coordinate technical proposals that address the needs of the customer.

· Consolidate, transfer, and put in practice the functional, technical and methodological knowledge acquired in the previous projects.

· Expected to act independently to deliver projects to schedule, budget and scope.

Knowledge:

· Consulting experience in IT transformation projects for financial services and/or government institutions.

· Prior experience with a top tier consulting firm is highly desirable.

· Knowledge in SOA architecture patterns.

· Software Architecture paradigms and methodologies (UML, architecture definition, MVC, etc.)

· Integration tools: ESBs.

· Common standards: Extensive knowledge of SOAP, UML, XML and HTTP.

· Updated knowledge and experience in Java EE (J2EE) environments and technologies and databases (JSP, JSF, Facelets, Servlet, EJB3, JPA), Spring, Struts, JBoss SEAM.

· Application servers: Oracle WebLogic Application Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, JBoss, Tomcat.

· Experience in Axis2, Apache JMeter, Hibernate, RichFaces, IceFaces, etc.

· Development tools: Eclipse, Oracle JDeveloper, NetBeans, ANT, Maven.

· Advanced knowledge of Windows environments and technologies (ASP.Net, Winforms, WPF, Silverlight, WCF and WF).

· Core: Advanced knowledge of Enterprise Library 4 or superior.

· Testing: Automatic unit testing generation and load testing using Visual Studio.

· Persistence: LINQtoSQL, Entity Framework 4

· Tools: Experience working with TFS.

· Application and web servers: experience in the configuration IIS servers.

· Web architectures: high availability and load balancing, web servers and Single Sign-On.

· Windows and J2EE application architectures: Knowledge on asynchronous execution and process parallelization.

· Document management: Knowledge of FileNet, Documentum, Alfresco, OpenText, Oracle UCM or Nuxeo.

· Business Process Management (BPMs) Tools: Filenet BPM, Documentum BPM, etc.

· Microsoft Products: SharePoint, BizTalk and Dynamics CRM knowledge.

· MCPD 4.0 certification desirable.

· 3-5 years of relevant and demonstrable experience working on IT transformation initiatives that include design, documentation and implementation of IT architectures and systems.

· High capacity to resolve technical problems, including performance, concurrency, scalability and integration.
