The role of a Clinical Sales Consultant (CSC) is multifaceted. The position acts as a consultant, salesperson, advisor, negotiator and closer. To succeed in the position, the CSC must be passionate about patient care, excited about building relationships and able to thrive in a performance-based environment. The Clinical Sales Consultant will be working directly with both internal and external customers to facilitate sales, increase brand awareness, and build a satisfied customer base. × Become knowledgeable of Ethos Therapy Solution product solutions, their application, and benefit to patient healing to assist with sales procedures.
× Engage with customers daily to answer questions, resolve inquires, handle sales escalations, initiate follow-up on leads, assist with arrangements for a successful transition to Ethos products, and set up and maintain accounts/account contacts.
× Maintain an on-going relationship with healthcare providers, caregivers, and clinicians to promote and increase the placement of Ethos products within targeted post-acute accounts including home health, wound care centers, hospital case management and extended care facilities.
× Work with Ethos support staff and referring healthcare professionals to ensure customers’ needs are fully met. Assists, within Medicare or payor guidelines, with the collection and dissemination of information or documentation provided by referral sources to ensure timely placement of prescribed products.
× Provide daily comprehensive support for sales staff, including making in-service arrangements, managing intake and payor documents, and coordinating calendar appointments.
× Communicate frequently with Therapy Consultants to develop and implement new methods and procedures for increasing sales, promoting brand awareness, encouraging customer loyalty.
× Completes all required corporate, employment, compliance and departmental training as requested.
× Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and plan independently to meet the goals of the company and attain customer satisfaction and loyalty
× A basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
× Excellent team working, motivational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills
× Enthusiastic and positive with excellent multitasking and organizational skills
× IT skills; standard business technology devices and Apps (mobile phones, tablets, etc.)
Experience and Education:
Certified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Nurse Practitioner required
Bachelor of Science Degree in Clinical Studies or related field preferred
Minimum 5 years clinical experience. Home health or extended care industries preferred
WOCN or CWS certification desired
Ability to travel extensively by car or commercial flight as needed
Ability to travel overnight on occasion
