Essential Media Partners is looking to grow as a company by adding a Sales and Media Executive to its team. We are searching for qualified candidates, capable of working in a fast paced environment.
Qualified candidates will be responsible for driving new business across print and online products while establishing high-level relationships with key decision makers. As a Sales Executive, it is imperative to ensure both cross product growth and client satisfaction. Successful candidates must be innovative, driven and entrepreneurial. They must have a demonstrated ability to drive new business as well as develop and leverage an existing customer base.
We are looking for ambitious, innovative and financially motivated closers with the ability to sell both print and online products simultaneously. The Sales Executive will be responsible for generating revenue from regional business in the metropolitan area through provided leads, prospecting and other innovative strategies.
Responsibilities as a media executive include:
-Growing and maximizing sales revenue
-Building pipeline through self-initiated sales, business development, marketing and network initiatives, prospecting and warm/cold calling
-Coordinating with client services, marketing and appropriate support teams
-Generating and following up on proposals/offers to prospects
-Developing and maintaining a database of potential and existing sales leads
-Developing and maintaining high level relationships with key customers and potential clients
-Attending networking events
The ideal candidate will have the following:
-Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
-Demonstrated success in cycle sales
-Proven ability to be a self starter and the ability to drive the sales process
-Ability to thrive in a fast paced and goal-driven environment
-Minimum of 3 years experience in sales
-College Degree preferred
