ERG is seeking a full-time Business Analyst to join our team in our Chantilly, VA office. We offer a flexible workplace environment and the chance to be part of a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Work directly with contract administrators and project managers to assist with prime contract and subcontract administration primarily under federal government contracts. Support may include reviewing and issuing requests for proposals; reviewing proposals and required procurement paperwork; reviewing and approving invoices; and assisting with closeout process.
  • Draft and coordinate teaming agreements and non-disclosure agreements.

· Draft financial progress reports.

· Support client progress reports, including developing tracking spreadsheets, summarizing progress accomplishments and financial data in Microsoft Word and Excel, and overseeing reports through the review and distribution process.

  • Maintain organized contract files and tracking spreadsheets.
  • Assist with preparation of technical reports, such as proofreading and formatting as well as developing complex tables and spreadsheets.
  • Develop and maintain project planning tools, including action item tracking spreadsheets, project calendars, and flow charts.
  • Support data entry tasks.

Candidates must have:

  • BA, BBA, or BS degree
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to develop and manage complex spreadsheets.
  • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Word functions (including tables, table of contents, templates, auto numbering, graphic boxes, and styles).
  • Proficiency in Adobe and pdf manipulation.

· Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal), meticulous attention to detail, highly motivated, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with limited oversight.

  • Willingness and ability to learn new software and technical skills required for planning, report preparation, and financial reporting.

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Working knowledge of federal contract reporting and tracking.
  • Experience with financial accounting tools such as Cognos and Deltek.
