The Role: Sales Development Representative (SDR) Location: Montreal

As the SDR, you play a critical role building and growing this company. You will build the sales pipeline by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities, and you will nurture these opportunities through to conversion. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic hustler who wants to be part of the growth of an industry changing product.

Here’s what a rockstar in this role will accomplish:

  • Secure 10 new customer trials each month

  • Convert at least two trials to paying customers

  • Manage and facilitate the feedback process

  • Obtain and organize referrals through the Net Promoter process

  • Tirelessly research to generate new leads


  • You have both the desire and ability to learn

  • You like talking to people (and they like talking to you)

  • You use active listening to understand clients needs

  • You challenge others to expand their perspectives and see new ones

  • You prefer working at a fast pace and have no problems meeting tight deadlines

  • You are assertive, but not aggressive (if you fight fire with fire, you won’t succeed on this team)


  • Experience in B2B software sales

  • Experience using a CRM

  • Experience selling to engineering consulting firms

  • Structured and organized approach to sales

  • Experience with $1-2M+ annual sales target

  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, verbal and written communication skills

  • Independent self-starter with a preference for initiating and setting own direction

  • Experience in growing existing clients and creating new business

  • Fluency in English / French

  • SaaS sales

  • $20-60k product price experience

  • Experience selling to sized 1-50 employee engineering firms

  • Experience selling a new product

  • Fluency in French

  • CAE industry knowledge
