This intern opportunity is designed to provide the student with hands-on experience in an Engineering working environment. Throughout the internship the student will be assigned to work on projects that have direct impact on our military customer. The student will have the opportunity to work with experienced Engineers and Developers and be exposed to many areas and functions within the industry. Will also receive coaching and mentorship from ESP leadership. Additional responsibilities may include; - Assist engineers and engineering technicians with the design, development, integration and testing of manned and unmanned vehicle systems - Assist with the assembly and wiring of hardware installations - Participate in field testing - Assist with the documentation of software and engineering data.
Candidates must meet the following requirements in order to be considered for this position: - Must be currently enrolled in a college level Engineering program; candidates class level must be a Sophomore or Higher - Must be legally authorized to work in the US - Ability to work Part-Time , a maximum 29HRS per week - Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eagerness to learn - Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically MS Word and Excel - Basic understanding of the Military structure and dynamics highly desirable - Physical requirements – Must be able to move in and out of military vehicles, stand for long periods of time as well being able to lift and carry up to 40lbs at shoulder and/or waist height.
