The Engineering Program Manager (EPM) oversees the deployment of Emrgy’s current and future product lines in close coordination with Emrgy’s product engineering and manufacturing programs. This role will oversee the entire energy production system, including the hydrokinetic turbine technology, power take-off system, control and power electronics, balance-of-system components and grid/microgrid interconnect. Oversight will require an in-depth knowledge of the subsystems mentioned. This role will also have responsibility for the supply chain and external contractors that support deployment. The work will include customer site visitation, project design, vendor and contractor interaction and management, and general project management to aggressive deadlines.
Lead a fast-paced high growth team in solving innovative engineering challenges.
Provide strategic guidance to teams and product managers to promote Emrgy’s goals and values.
Take initiative to implement innovative strategies from the ground up.
Excel in developing process and procedure without existing legacy programs.
Has an engineering background with experience in mechanical and/or electrical systems. Master's Degree desired.
Has previously worked in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of other renewable energy projects.
Has experience working with/managing a staff of different engineering disciplines to produce results quickly.
Has a deep knowledge of energy or industrial hardware manufacturing as well as iterative engineering design and delivery.
Familiarity with engineering software such as Autodesk/SOLIDWORKS/MS Project.
