We are seeking a RN Clinical Nurse Manager to join our Ear, Nose & Throat team supporting 5 MD's and 2 PA's. The position is responsible for management of the nursing and clinical aspects of our private, physician-owned practice. This position is a "working manger" position and includes coordinating and supervising a great group of LPN nurses, MA's, and certified diagnostic staff, oversight of medical supply and medication ordering, assisting physicians during outpatient clinic visits, performing triage, updating patient history and vital signs, recording medication and diagnostic facts, assisting with procedures, and documentation of visits and orders within an electronic medical record. ENT, audiology, allergy testing and therapy ASC or surgical specialty experience a plus but not required.

​Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and supervise all nursing and diagnostic staff
  • In-office and pre-visit triage and documentation of outpatient visits of patients
  • Acquire vital signs, medical histories, medication lists, and assist with patient care and treatment
  • Assist physicians and PA's with in-office procedures and diagnostic tests
  • Oversee proper documentation of patient visits and orders in an electronic medical record system
  • Oversee proper sterilization and cleaning of medical tools and equipment, clean exam rooms
  • Coordinate ordering of medical supplies and medications
  • Coordinate in-office stat lab and CT diagnostic testing
  • Educate and update patients on medical and surgical treatments, and manage expectations

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and planning skills
  • Previous clinical experience in a high-volume outpatient care setting
  • Registered Nurse active certification in the State of Tennessee
  • Familiarity with medical tools, equipment, medications, and supplies
  • Ability to build and maintain rapport with patients, physicians, and fellow staff members
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, calm, and patient-focused management style
