Project Coordinator (Financial)

The incumbent will be responsible for maintenance of the project plan, maintenance and updating of a project spreadsheets (if appropriate). Also provides administrative support to the Project Mangers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand and manage the ordering cycle from the following: purchase requests, purchase orders, receipt and Invoice as it relates to Dynis meeting the need of our customers.
  • Work Order Requests – creating, tracking and sending to Finance
  • Purchase Order management – receiving, tracking and sending to vendors
  • Manage bill of materials order entries into SiteMax or requests to alternate vendors for sales quotes
  • Coordinate and follow up between departments (POs, OOMs, status, true up status, change orders)
  • Attend meetings as required
  • Working closely with others to ensure the project meets business needs
  • NORAD Materials True-Ups
  • Upload documents to Box.com and Siterra Database
  • Reconciling and collect supporting documentation for True Up and Turn Over Packages.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a TEAM environment
  • Experience with AT&T systems a plus.
  • MUST HAVE STRONG MS EXCEL SKILLS
  • Strong communication skills to manage projects with offsite team members.
  • Strong Financial Management skills
  • 2-4 years minimum procurement experience preferably in a direct materials manufacturing environment within Telecommunications.
  • Excellent computer skills are a must, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Preferred experienced with AT&T’s project and financial tracking tools such as CASPR and NORAD

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree or directly related work experience.

Presentation SKILLS:

Ability to make oral group presentations to influence others to accept a specific opinion, action, etc.; to provide information or explain procedures, policies, etc.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Office Suite. Possessing the ability to prepare business correspondence and reports, also basic knowledge of chart, graph and table formatting.

Work Location & schedule:

This position is located in our Richmond, Virginia Office. Telecommuting is not an available option. The work schedule is Monday-Friday
