Outpatient physical therapy searching for a bilingual full-time receptionist in our Fairfax location.

primary functions and accountabilities.

-Answer phone lines and schedule an appointment.

-Update patient information, verify insurance coverage, obtain authorization and collect copayments.

--Manage telephone, fax, and email request in a timely and organized manner.

-Call the referral physician's office periodically to obtain an updated prescription, surgical report, or MRI and provide them with the patient's progress notes

candidate must have

-Must be fluent in Spanish

-Strong sense of responsibility and initiative

-Exceptional customer service skills.

-Strong written and verbal communication.

-Must be knowledgeable about insurance authorization, limitation, coverage, eligibility

-Must have at least one year of experience in a medical office

.-Basic knowledge of Microsoft operation, typing speed of at least 30 WPM with high accuracy.
