We have an opening for a Regional Sales Manager. This home-based position is charged with increasing profitable sales by developing, maintaining, and growing the company’s direct customers in the industrial and mobile equipment markets. This position reports to the company’s North American Sales Manager in the U.S.A. Domestic travel 60% (average of 2 nights/week away from home) is required.
In this position, you will use your industrial sales and product application experience to assist customers and find solutions to their “project” needs. You will be backed by highly knowledgeable customer service, technical and project management team, who will help you meet and exceed your goals.
•Application and design experience with fluid power systems preferred.
•Bachelor degree in a technical discipline or business degree.
•Five to eight (3-5) years of industrial outside sales experience having direct customer interface.
•Product experience in fluid power components and/or systems would be an asset.
•Markets experience in industrial and mobile equipment.
•Relationship management skills to effectively interface with a wide variety of customers.
•Expertise in sales techniques, relationship building, prospecting, closing, and negotiating skills.
•Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly grasp new product technology & processes with the ability to present the information and demonstrate the technology to customers.
•Vision and self motivation to pursue new markets and customers.
•Positive attitude and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
•Valid driver’s license and passport
