Position Title: Director of Brand Strategy
Reports To: Chief Integration Officer
Job Summary: We’re an Agency of Change. We change opinions, perspectives, outcomes and how people experience brands. We’re looking for a unique talent with fully-integrated planning skills. As the Director of Brand Strategy, you would lead this critical discipline and work across a diverse group of clients.
Qualifications: You. . .
Know how to make people listen. You would provide strategic leadership to the agency and interact and present to our clients’ and potential clients’ C-suites. You are confident, convincing and passionate in your work. You are a dynamic presenter, a strong writer and an excellent listener.
Love data and know how to get it. Your compelling point-of-view is grounded in fact, but your intuition is also strong. You have deep experience in designing both qual and quant research to meet informed learning objectives. You have moderated, facilitated and interviewed more groups or people than you can number. You know your way around significance and sample sizes. You can do it yourself and manage partners to get the best results.
Are curious. When it comes to your targets and communications solutions, you take little at face value. You are always striving to learn new skills and about new technology and solutions.
Know how to work on a team of MVPs. We’ve got all-stars in every discipline. You seek out opportunities to work with every discipline in the agency and know that integrated is more than a word, but a way of working differently. You are not the expert in all things, but know enough to ask smart questions of your expert colleagues to help get to better solutions.
Change channels with ease. You are most interested in the best ways to connect with your target. You are adept in all communications channels from digital to direct mail to good, old-fashioned TV. You have worked closely with media teams to provide target insight that fuels innovative channel strategies. You believe in accountability and learning from performance metrics to provide the best work.
Are an impressive plate spinner. Many teams would be in demand of your talent and time here. You are able to manage multiple accounts and projects at one time and have experience doing so. You are excellent at prioritizing and also can delegate when needed. You love working with clients day-to-day and are energized by the pace of new business.
Lead by example and from experience. People want to work with you because of your enthusiasm and expertise. You have worked in our challenging, but rewarding, business for more than 10 years. You have significant experience managing and mentoring.
