The Marketing Manager role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to build brand reach and drive sales revenue. Primary duties will be to create effective campaigns to drive print and digital ad sales, increase paid subscription conversions, and increase merchandise sales. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, within small teams and independently, and have the ability to transition between strategy and tactics fluidly. The position will require working collaboratively with directors and department mangers across the company; specifically, sales, circulation, digital, and merchandise. The Marketing Manager reports directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand, develop, and maintain audience demographics
  • Stay current on industry trends
  • Develop and execute marketing budgets and campaigns to increase brand reach and sales revenue
  • Develop, manage and execute effective social media campaigns
  • Optimize website and landing page design to increase conversions
  • Optimize conversion on all public-facing forms and carts
  • Create and improve autoresponders, drip campaigns, and convert opt-ins into paying customers
  • Create, manage, and distribute company PR campaigns
  • Manage and maintain EMS and all marketing lists
  • Deploy weekly newsletter
  • Provide reporting and analysis to management team
  • Effectively manage and develop talent within the marketing department
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies within the company and marketing department for continued growth

Successful candidate will have experience in:
