Job Description

Sales Executives are responsible for developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key businesses, stakeholders, and preparing sales reports. Sales Executives will liaise between customers and internal teams, ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs, and improve the entire customer experience. Our ideal candidate is able to anticipate and identify customer needs as well as exceed client expectations.

Outline of Core Responsibilities:

  • Consultatively build and generate new and repeat business in the cannabis industry

  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profit

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships

  • Act as Brand Ambassador and increase brand reach and consistency

  • Meet monthly goals in all required fields

    • Print

      • National

      • Regional

      • Emerging Markets

    • Digital

    • Events

  • Keep accurate and up to date records in CRM

    • Logging calls

    • Logging meetings

    • Logging agreements sent

    • Updating pipeline daily

  • Be present at weekly group sales calls and webinars

  • Meet weekly KPI Metrics and monthly sales goals

  • Prospecting new business requires 20 phone calls minimum per day

    • Calls will consist of a prequalifying process followed by face-to-face meetings

    • A weekly average of not less than 100 phones calls towards new business

  • Required 40 hours minimum working from virtual office (home)

  • Regional Travel:

  • This position consists of local and sometimes regional travel and requires car

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven success as Sales Executive with 3+ years proven experience in inside/outside sales and cold-calling.

  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience

  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with business acumen and a problem-solving attitude

  • Print Sales Experience Required

  • Understanding of Northern California Cannabis Industry Required

  • Digital Media Sales Experience a PLUS

  • Knowledge of function and daily use of CRM software
