SUMMARY

Regional Wholesale Sales Manager – Southwest position is responsible for the southwest regional sales performance/growth of EZ-FLO wholesale accounts, including support and communications with the Customer Service Reps that have responsibility for the designated region/regions. This position is responsible for increasing opportunities with new and existing customers using a consultative selling approach to deliver value to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

In this position, either directly or through others, the incumbent will:

  • Sells based on company value proposition by identifying key growth opportunities, product, and services offerings.
  • Actively and consistently call on assigned and new accounts in accordance with sales policies and procedures in order to regularly meet monthly/annual sales goals.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers by providing professional representation and assistance in all areas to improve customer’s profits. Engage with customers through frequent customer office/job site visits, always ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
  • Must consistently identify new sales opportunities, including potential new customers and pursue to generate new business/additional revenue consistent with assigned new business goals.
  • Monitor current sales trends and product performance results.
  • Utilize company reporting to analyze customer buying trends and develop plans to qualify and engage new customers.
  • Presentation of products and capabilities during sales calls
  • Prepare pricing details and quotations per customer requirements and follow up until sale is complete
  • Responsible for meeting company’s annual sales budget.
  • Work with the Product Managers to develop and expand product offerings as needed to develop a competitive advantage.
  • Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Minimal background and knowledge requirements:

Qualifications sought in successful candidates include the following:

  • High School Education, Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years experience in sales, preferably in plumbing, hardware and/or other building material fields.
  • Experience in outside sales, preferably experience selling to wholesale accounts
  • Experience managing day to day sales and account activity
  • Proven track record of generating profitable and measured business growth in previous roles.
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Must display strong organizational and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively manage.
  • Prior experience in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment and prioritize and accomplish goals within specified timeframes.
  • Must be proficient with the use of databases, spreadsheets, and related computer programs.
  • Must be results oriented and self-motivated.
  • Travel up to 50%.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:

  • Occasional long, irregular hours, depending on deadlines.
  • Use of a PC, computer terminal and/or telephone over 6 hours a day.
  • Occasional bending, twisting, crouching, pulling, pushing, and/or reaching to access job-related materials.
  • Must be able to travel overnight on an as needed basis up to 50%.

SCOPE LEVEL:

Independent Judgement/Autonomy: General supervision, following well-defined policies and procedures.

Interpersonal Responsibility: Interacts primarily with peers/supervisors within own department and must work cooperatively in work environment. Occasionally interfaces with senior management for information exchange only.
