Digilens is looking for a Manufacturing Chemist to be a part of the Materials Manufacturing team. This position will work closely with materials engineer/scientist team to produce and QC materials and polymer formulations that are used in design, fabrication and electro-optic systems. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast growing and highly dynamic team in a new technology of nanomaterial for augmented reality displays.
Perform production activities in making DigiLens waveguide.
Follow procedures to mix organic chemical formulations for production.
QC materials made with various established parameters.
Keep detailed records of QC data, formulation batches and waveguide production records.
Maintain lab equipment, glassware and supplies.
BS in Chemistry or related discipline
Comprehension of chemical formulations, processing techniques and general organic/materials lab safety.
A team player who is ready for hard work at a startup environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
