DigiLens is looking for Liquid Crystal Chemist, with a proven track record of successful development of nano-composites. These positions will work with our team in Silicon Valley R&D Centre, located in Sunnyvale, California.

This position will work hand in hand with Materials, Optical and Process Engineering teams to shape the future of Waveguide optics.
What can you do for DigiLens?
Liquid crystal mixture design, synthesis, formulation, characterization and identification of structure-property relationships
Analysis of organic mixtures containing liquid crystals and other organic reagents
Support a multi-disciplinary team for fabrication and testing of holographic devices for a variety of commercial applications
What you need for success
MS or equivalent in chemistry or materials science.
Comprehension of chemical formulations and material processing techniques. Understanding of synthesis and purification of liquid crystalline monomers, and techniques.
Team player with “whatever it takes” approach.
Authorized to work in USA.
Highly preferred skills and certifications:
3+ years of experience in the chemical Industry, polymers, liquid crystals or organic reagents.
Experience with electro-optic measurements of liquid crystal devices using oscilloscopes, power supplies, and reliability tests.
Experience in the material structure-property relationships, dye chemistry and coating processes.
