    DePaul Industries has a current opening for a Recruiter in our Meridian office. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your two or more years’ high-volume recruiting experience to an established, dynamic, and growing organization. This position works with a sense of urgency both proactively and reactively with internal and external customers, building both an internal talent pool as well as external customer relationships to match qualified candidates with open customer assignments.Our environment is entrepreneurial and fast-paced, requiring the ability to seamlessly shift between competing and changing priorities. Asymmetrical thinkers will thrive in our organization and a high level of interpersonal skills as well as flexibility is needed for this position.Essential Functions include:Attract and screen both active and passive candidates via traditional and non-traditional sources such as job boards, internet postings, job fairs, and community partnerships.Interview candidates both by phone and in person.Onboard candidates by conducting orientation, conducting testing, reviewing new hire paperwork, and completing drug/background/E-Verify checks.Identify placements for current open orders.Work closely with, and supports, Account Manager through building relationships with customers for current and future staffing needs.Maintain physical and electronic employee files, ensuring compliance with internal policies and practices as well as all federal and state laws and regulations.Provide coaching and discipline to temporary employees as applicable.Travel within the metro area to coordinate new Associate starts, check-in with customers, address Associate performance concerns, develop/nurture community partnerships, and host job fairs.Key Workforce Competencies include:ProfessionalismCollaborationClear, respectful, and transparent communicationInnovation / asymmetrical thinking with attention to detailUtmost degree of confidentiality in all situationsAccountabilityDependabilityDesire to function in fast-paced, multi-task environmentExceptional interpersonal skills in a very diverse environmentIndependent transportation to travel to client sitesWe are seeking an individual with at least two years’ recent high-volume recruiting experience.
