Pre-Sales Engineer

DANIKSA Partners has been hired by leading providers of Mobile Device Management & Security Software solutions and is currently seeking Sales Engineers to join their clients rapidly growing teams.

The Sales Engineers are responsible for all pre-sales activities of the sales process from qualifying, product demonstrations, P-o-C configuration, RFI / RFP proposals and solution presentation. You will have the opportunity to really affect how companies are using emerging technology and also ensure that our clients avoid the security and compliance risks that could jeopardize their business. Sales Engineers provide the link between our development team and our clients, and truly affect the direction of our product line, the company’s expansion in the marketplace, the usability of new technology in the enterprise, and our relationship with our partners and our customers.

The ideal candidates are self-starters and proactive leaders willing to display initiative with a competitive attitude focused on delivering results.

  • Minimum seven years experience selling an enterprise software solution
  • Experience demonstrating enterprise software solutions to both technical and business audiences and installing and configuring P-o-C's.
  • Experience working with companies to define solution requirements and map requirements to software solutions
  • Enterprise working for both established and start-up software companies
  • Thorough understanding working with the following disciplines - security, databases, networking, messaging, Microsoft Exchange, DNS, firewalls, intrusion detection, content security, etc.
  • Solid knowledge and proficient in at least one of the following areas: Remote Access, VPN's, Network or Content Security, DLP, compliance, or Mobile security / messaging
  • Some experience developing mobile applications using C programming language and/or HTML Web 2.0 would be ideal but not required
  • Bachelor's Degree
