Experience Desired:

  • 7+ years of experience selling capital equipment or integrated service solutions in one or more of the following verticals: Distribution, Material Handling, Warehouse, Logistics, Manufacturing.

B2B and Channel sales experience required.

The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent training/experience combination), with a minimum of 2 years’ experience. It is desirable that the candidate have experience in steel fabrication. Candidate will create and modify mechanical designs for custom-built vertical lifts and related accessories. Must be able to adapt and adjust to accommodate fast-paced tasks, input and projects.

Creating design solutions for unique applications as presented by customers; coordinating projects with customers and in-house personnel.

Recompense negotiable depending on individual’s training, experience and skill sets.

Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Presenting, promoting, and selling products using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers and sales partners

  • Performing cost-­benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers and sales partners to meet end user’s needs

  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive business and customer relationships

Job brief:

We’re looking for a results-driven sales professional able to achieve results selling to and through end-users, contractors, architects, dealers, and resellers. You will develop and provide solutions in both a B2B capacity and through channels focused on positive top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Sales Representative Job Duties:

  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales partners and businesses.
  • Services existing accounts.
  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by opportunity – B2B or sales partner.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential dealers and resellers.
  • Designs and propose solutions.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as reports, work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
