The Cultural Center of Cape Cod has a small, seven-person team, 24/7 programming, and we are looking for our Event & Facility Manager that will look into the future and set spaces for internal and external clients while keeping your finger on the pulse of the physical campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Event Logistics and Execution

  • Upon confirmation of an event on the Center's calendar, this position assumes responsibility for an event's successful planning and execution. The role will be responsible for the planning of the event including, but not limited to, meeting with the faculty, client, or organization requesting space usage, maintaining communication with those contacts throughout the planning process, coordinating logistical and janitorial needs, ensuring safety and fire standards are upheld, scheduling event staff, and coordinating equipment rentals and venue readiness.

Facility Management

  • Oversees and manages the routine upkeep, repair, replacement, aesthetics, and extended useful life of all Center-owned facilities and grounds.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Identifies and recommends upgrade, replacement, and/or purchase of systems and equipment and procures such as necessary.
  • Maintains effective working relationships with local law enforcement, fire, and medical teams.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Sitting, standing, squatting, and bending.
  • Lifting and moving equipment and furnishings more than 50lbs.
