We’re looking for a fun, energetic, food-loving sales leader join our admissions department. CulinaryLab is a small school that's making a big splash in culinary education. The right fit for this position will be someone with strong sales skills, who is also creative and resourceful.
This is not your standard "100 calls a day" admissions position. You would be one of two Directors of Admissions working with warm prospects to see if CulinaryLab is the right fit for them.
Five or more years of sales or school admissions experience
A self-starter, someone who works best when given the chance to be independent and creative
Proven record of strong sales results
Recruit and enroll students
Field calls and emails
Attend recruitment events
Assist with open houses and school events
Check in with and support current students you've enrolled
Monday through Friday you'd work a pretty typical 9-5:30ish schedule. Working a later shift once a week tends to help with reaching certain prospects who aren't available during the day. We take turns working weekend shifts. You would typically have 1-2 shifts per month and would take a weekday off to compensate.
About CulinaryLab Cooking School:
CulinaryLab is a contemporary take on cooking school, offering students immediate immersion in the restaurant industry, web-based curriculum, and hands-on modern cooking technique. We partner with local chefs and culinary artisans to expose our students to the real world of professional cooking through apprenticeship opportunities, guest lectures/demos, and field trips. Based on demand, we have expanded our business to offer series classes for home cooks as well as team-building private event opportunities for companies and groups.
