At Cradle Genomics, our goal is to transform non-invasive prenatal testing by offering the most comprehensive fetal genetic analysis and pregnancy health screening solutions at the earliest stages of pregnancy. Cradle is developing tests that will be conducted in a CLIA laboratory and are based on the genetic analysis of fetal cells that can be collected during the first pregnancy visit with no risk to the mother or developing fetus. Cradle has received several NIH grants to develop new platforms for fetal genetic testing and assessment of maternal risk for obstetrical complications. Cradle technology non-invasively accesses fetal cells derived from the placenta as early as the fifth week of pregnancy, one week after a missed period.
