This position is in the Technology Sales group and is responsible for selling software licenses and consulting services directly to assigned customer accounts.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota.
Achieve assigned objectives of sales pipeline development.
Manage day to day sales process, coordinate account meetings, and coordinate sales support resources.
Provide sales and executive management with account updates, sales forecasts, etc.
Coordinate and lead multidivisional account teams.
Work as a team member on sales efforts involving global account opportunities.
Develop and maintain customer contacts at assigned accounts.
A minimum of eight years demonstrated success in direct sales of software solutions.
Five years experience selling to customers in the Chemical industry.
Significant experience leading multimillion dollar sales campaigns.
Proficient at establishing and cultivating "C" level consultative relationships.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Personal computer literacy.
A University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent).
Self-discipline and motivation to produce results with indirect supervision.
Up to 50% (calendar year) domestic travel required
Additional consideration for candidates with:
Chemical Engineering or relevant technical degree
Specific industry knowledge and experience
Familiarity with software simulation (process modeling, advance process control / real time optimization, manufacturing execution systems and planning and scheduling solutions)
