As our space explodes with activity, we’re looking for a full-time, experienced UI/UX Designer. We are looking for someone creative, tech-savvy and innovative. In this position you will lead the design strategy for the ConsumersAdvocate.org.

Responsibilities:

  • Create well thought out UI designs based on wireframes, written, and verbal descriptions
  • Create UX concept wireframe mock-ups
  • Organize process and people in order to align on UX vision of a great end to end user experience.
  • Create on-brand designs for marketing campaigns, ads, and other marketing initiatives
  • Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Build page navigation buttons and search fields
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Work with marketing team to create website interactions that are both good for users & optimized to achieve conversion goals
  • Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Ensure that an end-product design meets the core business objectives, while providing users with the optimum experience in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and engagement.

Requirements:

  • 5+years professional design experience
  • Strong messaging skills—the ability to craft words, graphics, interfaces, and workflows to tell a great story, communicate an idea, and create a visceral experience for users
  • Strong portfolio examples of UI/UX and Marketing design
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Dependable, proactive, and responsible
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Understanding of Google Analytics. Experience using other web analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Required proficiency with Adobe Fireworks, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Desired experience includes HTML, CSS,
  • Minimum BA or BS ideally in interaction design, Human Factors, Human Computer Engineering.

Relocation assistance may be negotiable for this position.
