Title: HRIS PeopleSoft Functional Analyst
Type: Contract to hire
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Maintain and set-up human resources information system using PeopleSoft and support self-service modules including e-profile, e-benefits and Desktop Manager.
Research, evaluate, advise and implement enhancements to PeopleSoft system.
Coordinate with the IT staff to support and implement department needs and priorities.
Develop processes for data maintenance and accuracy, including audits within the organization.
Train new and existing users on system functionality.
Work with other HR members in order to provide appropriate solutions to meet human resource needs.
Liaison with benefit related vendors in relation to data interfaces.
Create and produce complex reports and extracts of HR data using PeopleSoft Query tool.
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience,
5-7 years of progressive HRIS and HR experience
Strong skills in and experience with PeopleSoft system including Workforce and Benefits Administration, Self Service modules and extracting and manipulating data using the Query tool. In addition, Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills required.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; attention to detail critical
Ability to see the “big picture”, lead planning and design, prioritize and execute project plans.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience using PeopleSoft version 9.1. Modules include North American Payroll, Human Resources, Benefits Administration, Pension Administration, and Self Service for Employee and Manager. (This position would not be responsible for Payroll.)
