Due to rapid growth, Consulting Professional Resources is searching for a Business Analyst for our company (CPR, Inc.).
Expert knowledge of the business system, operation, and data needed to translate business requirements to automated solutions.
Demonstrates strong business sense. This includes monitoring the direction and growth of business to ensure the application of appropriate technology support.
Extensive knowledge in Word and Excel applications
An in depth understanding of database design, testing methodology, and queries
Ability to use graphical design tools(Visio and Wireframe Sketcher or equivalents) to include illustrations in specifications and presentations for, at a minimum, work flows, screen/page layout and design.
Interacts regularly with management and users to analyze, specify, and design business applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills. These include the ability to develop documentation that is concise and easy to understand for non-technical personnel.
Act as liaison between developers and end-users.
Facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions.
Ability to analyze, document and reengineer business processes
Establishes test environment requirements.
Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules for systems development efforts.
Coordinate and conduct on-site business analysis workshops that are used to define project and system design requirements.
Produces requirements, specifications, and high-level test plans in the course of implementing a system
Research and analyze business issues by evaluating workflow, interviewing personnel, or investigating work practices in other units/agencies.
Works with business and systems personnel to resolve any ambiguities in the defining system specifications
Write documentation, or work with others in the preparation of documentation, for users and customers.
Assist in troubleshooting issues with implemented systems.
Normally receives little or no instruction on routine work.
Requires no guidance in personal time management
Mentors more junior analysts and provides leadership on small projects.
Primary business contributor on large projects.
