40% Following established policies and procedures, assists in rollout and installation of workstation software and hardware Performs software updates and handles moves, computer setup and peripherals from site to site.
40% Maintains workstation hardware and software. Replaces hardware that has become faulty and corrects software issues. May order replacement parts and track status/inventory of items. Ensures tools and equipment are licensed and approved by IS purchasing.
20% Complete data backups and restorations for users. Assists customers/users and answers questions regarding their equipment. May perform software testing and evaluation of new software and hardware prior to production.
Associates Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field OR (Required)
Certification from an approved vendor or tech institute OR (Required)
Technical operations support experience or other job related experience (Required)
A+ Certification (Required)
Desktop support experience (breakfix / deployment experience) (Required)
