Starting Salary: $51,311.72(Non-licensed) - $59,442.08 (Licensed)

Special Requirements: Must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field plus 1 year experience. Must be active and in good standings as a registered intern or licensed with the BBS. Experience working with children, adolescents and families involved with juvenile probation. Experience working with substance abuse in adolescents, preferred. Must be willing to work with clients in a clinical setting, in the community and/or in clients' home. Preferable experience working with the DSM IV and setting therapeutic goals, to include working closely with Probation staff at The Edge School. Client base includes Gilroy, San Jose and/or Morgan Hill. Demonstrated ability of cultural competency by effectively working with people differing in value systems, ethnicity, cultural backgrounds, language capabilities and disabilities. Ability to exercise good judgment and act calmly in emergency situations. Experience and ability to work in a fast paced environment with good time management skills with the ability to maintain appropriate documentation is required. Experience with County Mental Health paperwork and procedures strongly preferred. Strong computer, written and verbal skills required. Work effectively in a team environment or independently. Flexible schedule, may be required to work some evenings and/or weekends. Daily travel is required which may include transportation of clients. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid California Drivers License, auto insurance, and automobile.Bi-lingual, Spanish speaking required.
